Description
English: Globe is the work of Gojko Varda for the needs of the exhibition "Geodesy - Why, how, what?" held at the Museum of Science and Technology Belgrade. For these purposes Varda constructed a globe in the size of 1:20 000 000. It is made of styrofoam and additional plastic elements. In co-operation with colleague Dejan Vračarević, he designed the globe to be understandable for blind people, so they printed the numbers in the Braille letter, and beside the globe was a legend on which each number signified and described what is on the globe.
Српски / srpski: Globus je delo Gojka Varde za potrebe izložbe "Geodezija- Zašto, kako, čime?" održane u Muzeju nauke i tehnike Beograd. Za te potrebe Varda je konstruisao globus u razmeri 1:20 000 000. Napravljen je od stirodura i dodatnih plastičnih elemenata. U saradnji sa kolegom Dejanom Vračarevićem osmislio je da globus bude jasan i slabovidim osobama pa su Brajevim pismom ispisali brojeve, a pored globusa je stajala legenda na kojoj je svaki broj označavao i opisivao šta je na globusu.
