Description
English: One of the interesting findings of the study on the impacts of golden apple snails, an invasive alien species (IAS), in rural areas of southern China was that snails with algae parasitizing their shells tended to have darker, thicker shells, while those without algae parasitizing their shells tended to be darker and thicker, and those without algae parasitizing their shells tended to be thicker. golden apple snails, tended to be thinner.
