Description
Deutsch: Schlattstaller Goldloch, intermittierende Karstquelle mit großer Felsöffnung; eine der beiden größeren Quellen der Schwarzen Lauter.

Schlattstall/Lenningen, Landkreis Esslingen, Schwäbische Alb. Quelle im Gewann Kohlhau aus der Schicht Wohlgeschichtete Kalk-Formation (eine von 6 Quellen auf ca. 400m Distanz). Die Felsöffnung wurde 1824/5 durch Goldgräber erfolglos erweitert.

Das große Naturschutzgebiet "Oberes Lenninger Tal mit Seitentälern" schützt vor allem die Hochflächen und die Hänge, einschließlich der zahlreichen Quellen und Höhlen. Nur die Flächen der Orte Gutenberg und Schlattstall wurden vom Schutz ausgenommen. Es sollen die unterschiedlichen naturnahen Lebensräume von Laubwäldern, Wiesenauen, Felsen, Heiden und Feuchtgebieten geschützt werden.
