English: The Gorch Fock is a tall ship of the German Navy (Deutsche Marine). In this picture she is going alongside the frigate Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg-Class (F216). Her Sails are lowered, the crews are facing each other on the decks of their vessels when the vessels met near Gibraltar.
Deutsch: Die Gorch Fock ist ein als Bark getakeltes Segelschulschiff der Deutschen Marine. In diesem Bild ist sie begleitet von der Fregatte Schleswig-Holstein (Brandenburg-Klasse, F216). Die Mannschaften stehen sich je auf ihrem Deck gegenüber zum Gruß bei einer Begegnung vor Gibraltar. |
