Description
Deutsch: Grünenwört, die Fährmannsfamilie (im Nebenberuf) am linken Mainufer: Herr und/oder Frau Oberdorf befördeten die Eisenbahnfahrgäste auf Zuruf mit ihrem "Nachen" über den Main, denn die Haltestelle lag an der Bahnstrecke Wertheim-Miltenberg-Aschaffenburg rechts des Mains auf bayerischem Staatsgebiet, der Ort Grünenwört liegt jedoch links des Mains im baden-württembergischen Main-Tauber-Kreis, vormals Lkr. Tauberbischofsheim. Im Hintergrund ist am Waldrand ein kurzer Abschnitt des Eisenbahndammes zu erkennen: links = Ri. ehem. Haltstelle Grünenwört, rechts = Ri. Hasloch bzw. Wertheim. Foto um 1956.
  • In der amtl. topogr. Karte 1:25.000 des Jahres 1997 wurde die Haltestelle Grünenwört, obwohl seit 1960 ausser Betrieb, mit dem Kürzel Bf für Bahnhof gekennzeichnet, Siehe BayernAtlas.de: https://v.bayern.de/dQjtn. Bei dem kleinen schwarzen Quadrat links des Kürzels Bf handelt es um das ehemalige Stellwerkshaus für die Weichen und Signaleinrichtungen zum Gleis des Sand- und Kiesabbaubetriebes Firma Weber, Faulbach. Der Kiesabbau war während des Autobahnbaues der A 3 und A 81 in den 1960er bis 1970er Jahren in Betrieb.[1] Im aktuellen digitalen Orthofoto (Luftbild) auf BayernAtlas.de sind noch Teile der heute stilleglegten Werksgleise zu erkennen: https://v.bayern.de/sc43c.
