English: Grave in the Marienfelde cemetery for 33 forced laborers who were burned at a British air raid on the night with 14./15.11.1940 when a war plane crashed by shooting at a forced labor camp in the Säntis street in Berlin-Mariendorf. They were buried in this mass grave, a large granite boulder with an inscription and a bronze plaque bearing the names of the victims maintain the memory of 20 Dutch, 8 Czechs, two Germans, and three of unknown dead nation.
Deutsch: Grabstätte auf dem Friedhof Marienfelde für 33 Zwangsarbeiter, die bei einem nächtlichen Luftangriff der Engländer am 14./15.11.1940 mit Flugzeugabsturz durch Abschuss auf ein Wohnbarackenlager in der Säntisstraße in Berlin-Mariendorf verbrannten. Sie wurden in diesem Sammelgrab beerdigt, ein großer Granitsteinfindling mit einer Inschrift sowie eine Bronzeplatte mit den Namen der Opfer halten die Erinnerung an 20 Niederländer, 8 Tschechen, zwei Deutschen sowie drei Toten unbekannter Nation aufrecht. |
