Description
English: Grace M. Scripps (1878-1971), daughter of James E. and Harriet Scripps, pasted this photo of herself in Ellen B. Scripps’ guest book, March 30, 1898, along with photos of South Moulton Villa and Miramar. In 1901, she married Rex B. Clark who built the opulent Lake Norconian Club resort in Norco, CA, for nearby Hollywood celebrities. Photo original held at the Ella Strong Denison Library, Scripps College.
