Deutsch: Charles de Graimberg aus Heidelberg, gemalt 1902 von Guido Philipp Schmitt. Charles de Graimberg wohnte selbst von 1811 bis 1823 auf dem Heidelberger Schloss und kannte sowohl das Umfeld als auch die räumlichen Details der damaligen Ruine sehr genau. Ab 1830 wurden mit dem Amtsantritt von Großherzog Leopold seine denkmalschützenden Bemühungen politisch anerkannt und fortan finanziell unterstützt. |
