Description
Català: Gran tomba col·lectiva representativa de la necròpoli de l'Almoina (València), segle VII. La gran cista contenia les restes de trenta-un individus soterrats en diversos moments. Quan calia reobrir la tomba per a dipositar el nou difunt, es netejaven les restes dels anteriors, dels quals es deixaven només el crani i els ossos llargs arrambats en un lateral. Després es col·locava el nou difunt. En aquesta tomba es trobaren peces d'ornament personal dels difunts: un collar amb peces d'ambre, pasta de vidre, coral·lina, atzabeja i maragdes i un anell de bronze amb inscripció. Cadascú d'aquests grans sepuclres contenia un aixovar d'inauguració, un vas de vidre o ceràmica. Fotografia feta durant l'exposició En temps dels visigots al territori de València.
