The inscription says: "In memory of John Smith, of Burley House Leeds, and Belvedere Harrogate, banker, born at Aberdeen 29th August 1797, died at Harrogate 23rd September 1866. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come" (from Nicene Creed; and Book of Common Prayer). |
