Description
English: Boundary stone at the channel number one in Andau, Burgenland, Austria. In 1956 70.000 of alltogether 180.000 Hungarians fled over the Andau Bridge from Hungary to Austria.
Deutsch: Grenzstein nahe der Brücke von Andau am Einserkanal im Gemeindegebiet von Andau, Burgenland, Österreich. Über die Brücke von Andau flüchteten rund 70.000 von insgesamt 180.000 Ungarn, die nach der Niederschlagung des Volksaufstandes durch sowjetische Truppen 1956 das Land verließen, nach Österreich.
