Description
Deutsch: Fürstabt Adolf von Dalberg (1678-1737) gelang es im Jahre 1730 mit dem St. Viktorstift in Mainz einen Vertrag über die Ablösung des Zehnten der Weinberge des Johannisbergs abzuschließen. Grenzstein mit der Inschrift SV = St. Viktorstift, ZF = Zehntfrei. Schloss Johannisberg im Rheingau.
English: Abbot Adolf von Dalberg (1678-1737) succeeded in concluding a contract with the St. Viktorstift in Mainz on the detachment of the tithe of the vineyards of the Schloss Johannisberg in the year 1730. Boundary stone with the inscription SV = St. Viktorstift, ZF = Zehntfrei= free of tithe. Schloss Johannisberg in the Rheingau.
