Description
English: Boundary Stone at "Alper Muehle", Wiehl/ Germany, protected in a house wall.
Deutsch: Grenzstein an der Alper Mühle. Der Stein wurde 1605 gesetzt und ist einer von 24 anderen Steinen, die im Rahmen des "Siegburger Vergleichs" vom 12. Juni 1604 errichtet wurden, um Grenzstreitigkeiten zwischen dem Bergischen und dem Homburgischen Fürsten zu beenden. Der Stein wurde in Köln aus Siebengebirgsstein gefertigt, er ist etwa 80 cm hoch und wurde in eine Hauswand integriert. (Quelle: Stadt Wiehl, Gemeinde Marienhagen)
