Description
Nederlands: Het pand is gebouwd als winkelhuis ter plaatse van een afgebroken pand. Het pand verrees in 1904 naar een ontwerp van de architect M. Geldmaker. De opdrachtgever tot de bouw was de weduwe mevr. H. Veerman. In 1923 is aan de achterzijde van het winkelpand een meubelmakers werkplaats toegevoegd, die was ontworpen door C. de Groot. Het winkelhuis is gebouwd in een voor de bouwtijd karakteristieke, aan de Chaletstijl verwante bouwtrant. De winkelpui is reeds meerdere malen verbouwd en is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
