| Description | Grout used in the post-tensioning ducts tended to leak from the joints (seen here) during the FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with Virginia DOT to demonstrate the PPCP use of precast concrete pavement system (PCPS) technology to replace concrete slabs on a section of I-66 during nighttime. This could be overcome by using foam gaskets at duct openings. |
