Description
Deutsch: Schachtdeckel aus Eisenguss von Grüter, Grage & Co. GmbH (GGC), Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei Soest (1905--1977). Verbaut nahe Akazienstraße 14, Soest, zwischen 1920 und 1968. Eine Besonderheit ist der nach oben gewölbte Deckel, der Häufig im Zusammenhang mit Kopfsteinpflaster zu finden ist. In der Mitte des fünfeckigen Sterns mit schmalen Spitzen (echtes Pentagramm) befindet sich ein liegendes 'I'. Die Lüftungsöffnungen sind runde Löcher, der Rahmen ist quadratisch, an den Seiten sind je 17 quadratische Noppen verteilt.

Das gleiche Modell wurde häufiger in Soest verbaut.

  • Stern - - Der Deckel ist ähnlich zu anderen in Deutschland und Polen verstreuten Schachtabdeckungen mit fünfeckigem Stern in der Mitte gestaltet. Bei anderen Ausführungen wird ein fünfeckiger Stern mit liegendem oder stehendem stilisierten '3E' bzw, 'EE' in der Mitte vorgefunden.
  • Runde Lüftungslöcher - - Selten sind runde Löcher in der Größe zu finden.
  • 17 Noppen - - Der Name Budde & Goehde steht auch auf quadratischen Rahmen mit 17 Noppen auf jeder Seite, aber meistens auf welchen mit 20 Noppen.

Weil Schachtabdeckungen der Firma Budde & Goede auch in Soest verlegt wurden, könnte es sich bei der Gestaltung der Schachtdeckel von Grüter, Grage & Co um eine Nachahmung oder eine Produktion in Lizenz handeln.
