English: A U.S. Navy Grumman E-2B Hawkeye (BuNo 151725) of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 117 (VAW-117) "Wallbangers" in flight, circa in 1980. VAW-117 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV-61) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 10 September 1980 to 5 May 1981. Following this deployment, the E-2B 151725 was retired to the MASDC as 2E0004 on 22 June 1981. |
