Description	U.S. Navy Grumman S-2D Tracker (BuNo 148720) from Anti-Submarine Squadron 35 (VS-35) "Boomerangers" in flight. VS-35 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 57 (CVSG-57) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12). Note the extended magnetic anomaly detector. Although this photo appeared in the 1967 cruise book, VS-35 had transitioned to the S-2E in 1966. VS-35 flew the S-2D from 1962 to 1966.
