Deutsch: Ausschnitt des Gütersteiner Wasserfalls am Albtrauf in der Nähe von Bad Urach.
Der Quellhorizont der 4 Schichtquellen befindet sich in der Karstschicht „Untere Felsenkalke (Kimmeridgium, ki2)" im oberen Hangdrittel. Das bloße Durchnässen der Flächen und die Moos-Assimilation aus dem Karstwasser begünstigen die chemische Ausfällung und Ablagerung von Calciumcarbonat am meisten. Der Kohlendioxid-Verbrauch der Moose steigert die Ausfällung enorm. English: Detail of the Gütersteiner Wasserfall at the Albtrauf near Bad Urach, southern Germany. Water percolates from behind 4 springs in the karst stratum „Kimmeridgian", high above the valley’s bottom. A maximal water surface and the Moss’ photosynthesis accelerate best the chemical precipitation of calcium carbonate from the water. |
