Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Gunung Krueng Pase adalah gunung tertinggi di Aceh Utara puncaknya berada di ketinggian 1.400 mdpl, merupakan salah satu Daerah Aliran Sungai yang melewati 2 (dua) kabupaten Aceh Utara dan Bener Meriah. Air yang dihasilkanya memiliki arti penting bagi flora fauna dan masyarakat sekitar. Kini kondisinya tak lagi seperti dahulu, aktivitas ilegal logging dan pembukaan lahan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat lokal, hingga deforestasi secara besar-besaran oleh perusahaan pemilik HGU menjadi musuh utama kawasan hutan ini, perambahan sudah mencapai ke jantung hutan Krueng Pase.
