Description
English: Photo taken in 2022 at the Troms Forsvarsmuseum ("Troms Armed Forces Museum, Troms Defence Museum"), a military history museum in Setermoen in Northern Norway:
  • Uniform of a senior lieutenant (premierløytnant) in the Norwegian Army about 1900, during the period when Norway was in a union with Sweden (1814–1905):
    • French model kepi cap with pompon, national cockade, etc.
    • Dark blue uniform (M1894) with red piping. The officers had insignia braids around the kepi and down at the cuffs on the sleeves. "Lion of Norway"(coat of arms of Norway) on buttons.
    • Cyphers and insignia on collar and epaulettes (shoulder boards)
    • Mannequin

    • Kepi, stiv, sylinderformet skyggelue med blant annet skjerm og hakereim, luestolpe med kokarde, norsk løve på knappene, pompong (rund luepynt) og tresser/snorer/lisser
    • Uniformsjakke (våpenkjole/uniformsfrakk) med blant annet ståkrage, rød passepoil, epåletter (skulderplater) og mer. Offiserene hadde distinksjonstresser rundt kepien og nede ved oppslagene ved ermene.
