English: Photo taken at the Troms Forsvarsmuseum ("Troms Armed Forces Museum, Troms Defence Museum"), a military history museum in Setermoen in Northern Norway:
  • Military headdress of the Norwegian Army in the late 19th century, during the period when Norway was in a union with Sweden (1814–1905):
    • Peaked visor cap
    • Prussian style Pickelhaube (spiked helmet) M1888 with metal spike finial, star shaped ornamental front plate showing "Lion of Norway" fro the national coat of arms, chinstrap in leather with metal chain

  • Hodeplagg for De norske Hæren på 1800-tallet, :
    • Skyggelue som forløper til 1900-tallets høyluer, leirlue med luemerke, skjerm, oppstående hodebånd, bred, flat, myk pull og passepoil
    • Pickelhaube, pigghjelm etter prøyssisk forbilde fra 1887, reglementert for infanteriet fra 1888 til 1891. Hjelmen er av filt, papp og tøy med beslag i hvitt metall: hakereim av lær med metallkjede, pigg og kryssbeslag på toppen og hjelmskilt foran dekorert med «den norske løve» fra riksvåpenet
