Description
Nederlands: Gezicht op de stad Utrecht met de Domtoren en een aantal andere kerk- en waltorens, uit het noordwesten. Van links naar rechts zijn te onderscheiden: de St. Corneliskapel op de hoek van de Catharijnesingel, de toren van het Predikherenklooster (?), diverse waltorens, de St.-Jacobskerk, een achthoekige kapel (Sacramentskapel ?), de Domtoren, de Catharijnepoort met -brug en de vieringtoren van de St.-Mariakerk. Linksboven het wapen van het graafschap Holland, middenboven van het bisdom Utrecht en rechtsboven van de stad Utrecht.

Nederlands: Tekening van J.H. Derkinderen-Besier uit ca. 1897 naar een schilderij, in 1897 geschilderd door A.J. Derkinderen naar een verdwenen gewelfschildering in de zuidelijke zijbeuk van de Jacobikerk, die in 1882 tijdens een restauratie werd ontdekt. Volgens Th. Haakma Wagenaar is de voorstelling op ca. 1480 te dateren.
