| Description |
English: Young student of ETH-University Zürich participating in a "Hackathon"-competition organised by a software company in Zürich, Switzerland. The software company organising the event is called "Synpulse". During the Hackathon, which lasted for 24hrs, participants were given different tasks in the field of software development, such as programming a security system that would give inhabitants of apartments access to their flats based on facial recognition or creating a way to use "Amazon Alexa" to find a doctor nearby that suits the patients needs. During the time of the event, participants were not allowed to leave the building, where the event took place and were closely monitored by a team of experts who would, at the end of the event, function as a jury which ended up declaring the team from ETH-Zürich (the group, of which the man in the picture was part of) the final winners of the event.
