Description
Deutsch: Das Bild wurde anlässlich eines sehr strengen Winters ca. 1962 von der damaligen Hafen-Verwaltung (dortige Gewerkschaft?) bei der Künstlerin in Auftrag gegeben. Die abgebildeten Personen sind "Best-Arbeiter", die in einem ca. 1-jährigen Prozess des Porträtierens durch die Künstlerin gemalt wurden. Es ist gerahmt, die Maße sind 3,70m x 2m

Source Das Bild gehört der Hafen-Gesellschaft "LUTRA GmbH" in Königs Wusterhausen. Dort ist es im derzeitigen Konferenz-, Versammlungsraum platziert. Fotografiert wurde es am 22.03.2013.

Other versions nicht bekannt

Im Hafen (Binnenhafen) von Königs Wusterhausen wurden damals große Mengen von Braunkohle verladen. Der Verladeprozess erforderte in dem strengen Winter große Anstrengungen von den dort arbeitenden Menschen und den Maschinen. Als Anerkennung wurde das Bild in Auftrag gegeben.
