Deutsch: Der zunehmende Mond über dem Kaufland-Gebäude an der Vaalser Straße in Aachen. Man blickt von der Weststraße über den Parkplatz auf die Rückseite Gebäudes. Kann man bei Halbmond die Sonne noch sehen, kann man den Sehwinkel oder Winkelabstand zwischen Mond und Sonne messen. Geht man bei Halbmond davon aus, dass die Verbindungslinien zwichen Mond-Sonn und Mond-Erde einen 90°-Winkel bilden, und kennt man den Abstand zum Mond, dann hat man ein Dreieck eindeutig über den Kongruenzsatz WSW gegeben. Darüber lässt sich dann zumindest der Abstand zur Sonne bestimmen. Diese Idee wird allgemein Aristarchos von Samos zugeschrieben. August sondern erst am 24. August. Der Terminator (linker Rand im Bild) müsste dann noch etwas konkav nach rechts eingedrückt erscheinen. |
