Description
Deutsch: Ein Halber Schlag (rechtsgänge Drehrichtung ind rechtsgängigem Seil). Ein Halber Schlag mit einem Törn um einen Balken, wobei die Leine so angeordnet ist, dass sie sich selbst einen gewissen Druck verleiht.
English: This picture shows a "half hitch", which is a turn of cottage around a solid, with the turn arranged to confer some nip on itself. The underlying solid is a may be eg by a spar, a line (including another part of the same line), or several lines. This is a structural term.
