Summary[edit]

Description
English: A classic view of the heart of Hardwar, pilgrim town for Hindus. The holiest place in the town where pilgrims congregate in huge numbers throughout the day and take a dip in the holy ganges river diverted from the main river for their convenience. In the evening oil lamps mouned on leaves are lit and allowed to float in the ghat.
