Description

A view of the Harrogate area, North Yorkshire, from Harlow Hill Tower observatory. The observatory contains a Foucault-type pendulum. On the roof is a viewing platform, and observational equipment. The tower is occasionally open to visitors during Heritage Open Days.

Near the centre of the picture is St Peter's Church, Harrogate.
