Description
English: People's Community Centre "Svoboda-1897" in the village of Gurkovo, Balchik municipality, recreates the custom of opening the harvest in 2023! There are no more reapers fainting from thirst under the scorching sun, but the memory is alive! We keep it for the generations, so that they can learn how unbearably hard it was to harvest the bread from the field!
Български: Народно читалище "Свобода-1897" в село Гурково, община Балчик, пресъздава обичаят по откриване на жътвата през 2023! Вече няма припаднали от жажда жътвари под палещото слънце, но споменът е жив! Ние го пазим за поколенията, за да има откъде да научат колко непосилно трудно е било някога да прибереш хляба от полето!
