Summary[edit]

Description Reproduction of a photograph of James Sprackett (1887-1980) of Gilmour, Ontario, made by Richard Lumbers from a photo loaned by Mrs Jenkins of Gilmour in August 1965. Mr. Sprackett was 45 years in the township council, served as Reeve of Tudor and Cashel Township for 29 and was Warden of Hastings County in 1955, when this photograph was taken. He was Sunday School Superintendent in the United Church for years and an elder in the same church. He took over the saw-mill from his father in 1912.
