Summary
[edit]DescriptionHawker Siddeley DH.121 - HS.121 Trident 2E ‘G-AVFH’ (50117005992).jpg |
English: c/n 2147.
Built at Hatfield in 1968 and delivered new to British European Airways, remaining with British Airways after the BEA / BOAC merger. She was finally retired in October 1981 and was broken up in May 1982. The Trident, of course, was designed by de Havilland before they became part of Hawker Siddeley and was originally designated the DH121. The forward fuselage has been returned to later BEA colours and remains on display outside. de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, UK. 12th July 2020 |
