Description

Taken at Cundy's Harbor in Harpswell Maine on a drizzly morning. This fishing and lobstering village is named after William Condy who settled here in 1733.

Hawkes’ Lobster was established in 1990 by Sue and Gary Hawkes with their two sons and two brothers supplying the lobsters. Sue Hawkes’ local ancestry goes back to the 1700’s with the most recent: Great Grandfather Will born approximately 1880 and Great Grandfather Daniel fishing out of the “Harbor”.... (Store website.) You can purchase live lobsters and other seafood and/or gifts and collectables at one site.
