Description
Nederlands: Het Heilig-Hartcollege was een katholieke school voor middelbaar-, basis- en volwassenenonderwijs in Ganshoren (België), vlak bij de Nationale Basiliek van het Heilig Hart. Het werd in 1939 opgericht door het Aartsbisdom Mechelen en bood secundair onderwijs (ASO) met naargelang de periode onder meer de richtingen Latijn-Grieks, Latijn-Wiskunde, Latijn-Wetenschappen, Economie-Moderne talen, Economie-Wiskunde, Moderne talen-Wetenschappen en Wetenschappen-Wiskunde. De school trok leerlingen uit een brede omgeving en had een goede reputatie. Omdat het leerlingenaantal achteruit ging, werd het aanbod uitgebreid met TSO (handel) en BSO (kantooradministratie en gegevensbeheer), maar op 30 juni 2008 werd de secundaire afdeling gesloten. Het volwassenenonderwijs(Lethas) bleef bestaan en de basisschool herdoopt tot Vrije Basisschool Heilig-Hartcollege Ganshoren .
