Deutsch: Bildseite der farbig lithografierten Ansichtskarte mit der fortlaufenden Nummerierung 32 aus dem Verlag von Heinrich Klee, betitelt

„ Georgstraße“

Zu sehen ist eine Partie der Georgstraße ab dem Schnittpunkt mit der Schillerstraße mit Blick in Richtung des Café Kröpcke. Im Vordergrund links ist das ehemalige Gebäude der Hannoverschen Bank zu sehen, an dem später die hannoversche Filiale von Karstadt errichtet werden wird. Ganz rechts im Bild das Gebäude von J. C. Herhold, neben dem das Haus von Louis Fuge (Fugesches Haus) steht, das spätere Drachentöterhaus mit der Georgspassage. Weiter hinten an der Ecke zur Kleine Packhofstraße wirbt der "Hofphotograph" Wilhelm Höffert für seine Dienste, gefolgt von dem Haus Georgstraße 14, in dem

„H. Klee“

der Verlag der hier digitalisierten Ansichtskarte, seinen Sitz und seine Verkaufsräume hat. An der nächsten Ecke hinter der Große Packhofstraße ist mit wenigen Buchstaben das Modewarengeschäft Carl Rocholl zu erkennen. Auf der Georgstraße fährt die hannoversche Straßenbahn schon elektrisch, wie die Wagen mit den Nummern 70 und 102' zeigen. Automobile sind noch nicht im Bild, stattdessen mehrere Fuhrwerke mit Pferden (Kutschen). Die Bildseite dieser Karte ist in dänischer Sprache am 10. November 1900 mit Nachrichten an Fredrich Ewald überschrieben, da zu der Zeit die Adressseiten der Ansichtskarten per Gesetz eben ausschließlich die Anschrift des Adressaten enthalten durfte ...
