Čeština: Helena Vejvodová, rozená Machová (* 14. prosince 1914 – † 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byla snoubenkou Jana Brycha (* 2. března 1912 Praha – † 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen). Helena Vejvodová byla zatčena gestapem ve večerních hodinách dne 23. června 1942. Byla vězněna v Malé pevnosti Terezín odkud byla dne 23. října 1942 převezen do koncentračního tábora Mauthausen a tam dne 24. října 1942 v 10.16 hodin zavražděna střelou z malorážní pistole do týla v odstřelovacím koutě mauthausenského „bunkru“ při fiktivní lékařské prohlídce.
English: Helena Vejvodová, née Machová (* 14 December 1914 - † 24 October 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp) was the fiancée of Jan Brych (* 2 March 1912 Prague - † 24 October 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp). Helena Vejvodová was arrested by the Gestapo in the evening of 23 June 1942. She was imprisoned in the Small Fortress of Terezín from where she was transferred to the Mauthausen concentration camp on 23 October 1942 and there, on 24 October 1942 at 10.16 a.m., she was murdered by a shot from a small-calibre pistol in the back of the head in the sniper's corner of the Mauthausen "bunker" during a fictitious medical examination.
