Summary[edit]

Description
English: A helicopter about to take off from the school field of Cowes High School, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on the Friday of Cowes Week 2010. Because the school field is so large, and Cowes Week is during the school summer holidays, one half of the field is used as a heliport during Cowes Week (the other half is used as an overflow car park). The photograph was taken from Crossfield Avenue. The hedge here is really tall, and I could only get photos by standing with the camera above my head and randomly shooting over the top and hoping it went well, so apologies about the amount of foliage in the photo!
