| Description |
English: The Henry Ames House, constructed in 1888-89 by Ames was designed as the centerpiece for his "Walnut Grove Stock and Dairy Farm", which encompassed 420 acres. Henry Ames, a prosperous Meeker County brick maker/contractor used cream-colored "Litchfield" brick that was manufactured on site.
