English: Africa Detail of the Hereford Map of the World, around 1280: South of the Nile River dwell strange people: Blemee (Blemyae, Blemmyes) with face in the chest, or at their shoulders (Isidore of Seville admitting these two kinds fo Blemmyae, but Kline guesses the shoulder-type is "Epiphagi"); Marmini Ethiopes (four-eyes), Agriophagi (their king have a single eye), Trocoditee (Troglodytes), Gangines Ethiopes, ; and beasts: basiliscus (basilisk), etc.[1][2]
