Description
English: View of a highline transfer between the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Douglas H. Fox (DD-779) and the light cruiser USS Huntington (CL-107), in 1948. Both ships were assigned to Task Group 160.3 for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea, East Africa and South America from 1 June to 8 December 1948. TG 160.3 consisted of USS Fargo (CL-106), Huntington, USS Juneau (CLAA-119) and Douglas H. Fox.
