English: Detail from mural monument in Alverdiscott Church, Devon, to Gilbert Hody (d.1686), showing arms of Hody (Argent, a fess per fess indented vert and sable between two cotises counterchanged of the fess) impaling Northover (Or, five lozenges in saltire azure between four cross-crosslets of the second), for his wife Anne Northover (d.1704), a daughter of George Northover of Aller Court in Somerset (as inscribed on monument)
