Description Former prisoners liberated from the Dachau Concentration Camp cheer at the raising of the Stars and Stripes, April 1945. Soldiers from the 157th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division (originally from the Colorado National Guard) were among many who aided in administering the thousands of surviving concentration camp prisoners who had managed to survive the Nazi holocaust of World War II.
