Description
English: Photograph of the Holt Monument at the Guilford Courthouse Battlefield, unveiled July 4, 1893. The monument celebrates the role of North Carolina Governor Thomas M. Holt in the formation of the Guilford Battle Ground Company, formed by private individuals to preserve the site of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in the American Revolutionary War.
