Description Neste 21 de abril, quando se comemora o Dia da Árvore, a homenagem é para a seringueira. Espécie que influenciou diretamente na formação da cultura, história e economia do Acre. Foi a partir dela que surgiram os seringais e seringueiros que ajudaram a garantir a preservação da floresta e impedir a invasão da pecuária no estado. E é dela que ainda hoje milhares de famílias acreanas tiram seu sustento com base no extrativismo. (Foto: Gleilson Miranda/Secom)
