Homs Notre Dame de la ceinture

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Also known as al-Zunnar Church or Church of the Virgin's Belt the name derives from a textile belt found under the altar in 1953 and said to have belonged to the Virgin. It's supposed to have been put on the spot it was found in the late fourth century. Most of the building is from a 1966 restoration, maybe on Byzantine foundations.
