English: Map of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and surrounds showing transportation, water features, rice paddies, religious buildings, built-up areas and populated places. Relief shown by contours, hachures, spot heights and bathymetric tints. The date of the survey is not indicated but must have been some years earlier, as a note above the margin on sheet 1 states that 'the exact course of the railway ... has not yet been ascertained'. The railway was in fact completed in 1910. |
