| Description | Horrified at America's actions- there is that Genbako dome once again - the only structure left standing after the entire neighbourhood was flattened by the senseless dropping of the atom bomb over Hirishima by big bully USA, now showing itself off as the keeper of world peace. Granted that the Japanese were not angels either, and had committed several atrocities as well during the war, especially in Thailand, Malaysian Borneo etc. but although a revenge attack by the US probably had it's arguments, the logic of flattening an entire city and killing off it's residents who had nothing to do with the war and were simply going about their daily business really beats me. See previous pictures earlier in this album for notes about the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima where I am now. (Hiroshima,Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
