| Description |
English: The Residential House listed under the name of Kurtesh Sulejmani was built in the 1880s and is located on the street, in the historic core near the Jashar Pasha Mosque and the Museum of Kosovo. Due to its deterioration and structural revelation from the loss of the façade, it can be seen that the house has a bondruk construction system consisting of a wooden frame structure with adobe brick filling. It is a two-story building, with the largest first floor, preserved above the ground floor. The ground floor is visually impermeable due to the lack of openings while the first floor has generous windows placed on the street facade. In its current state, the monument has been abandoned and severely deteriorated. During the visual observation in August 2020, the house appears to be abandoned in a severely damaged condition with loss of roof covering and building elements, loss of envelope material, and loss of structural integrity.
It is important to mention the concern of leaving these buildings at the mercy of time and certain individuals or groups who destroy the heritage for business gain. The last remnants of the historical fabric of Prishtina are completely disappearing, completely erasing an entire era of culture and residential architecture of the XVIII and XIX century. The country's institutions for the maintenance and care of the heritage, especially the architectural ones are responsible but nothing can be achieved without the involvement and contribution of the community.
Shqip: Shtëpia e Banimit e listuar nën emrin e Kurtesh Sulejmanit është ndërtuar në vitet 1880 dhe ndodhet në bërthamën historike afër Xhamisë së Jashar Pashës dhe Muzeut të Kosovës. Afër kësaj shtëpije gjinden edhe shtëpitë e tjera të të njëjtës periudhë si ajo e Sali (Hyrie) Shafqiu dhe Muharrem Sejdiu. Nga foto të vjetra të Prishtinës shihet që i gjithe rendi dhe lagjja afër kësaj ndërtese ka qenë plot me shtëpi të llojit të tillë. Për shkak të përkeqësimit të saj dhe zbulimit strukturor nga humbja e fasadës, mund të shihet se shtëpia ka një sistem ndërtimi bondruk i përbërë nga një strukturë me kornizë druri me mbushje me tulla qerpiçi. Është një ndërtesë dykatëshe, me katin e parë më të dalur mbi katin përdhes. Kati përdhe është i papërshkueshëm nga ana vizuale për shkak të mungesës së hapjeve ndërsa kati i parë ka dritare të gjera në fasadën e rrugës. Në gjendjen aktuale, monumenti është braktisur dhe përkeqësuar rëndë. Gjatë vëzhgimit vizual në gusht 2020, shtëpia duket e braktisur, në një gjendje të dëmtuar rëndë me humbje të mbulesës së çatisë, humbje të materialit ndërtimor dhe të mbështjellësit si deri në kërcënimin e integritetit strukturor të ndërtesës.
Vlenë të përmendet shqetësimi për lënjen e këtyre ndërtesave nën mëshirën e kohës dhe individëve ose grupeve të caktuara të cilët për përfitime biznesore shkatrojnë trashëgiminë. Mbetjet e fundit të indit historik të Prishtinës po zhduken plotësisht duke fshirë komplet një epokë të tërë të kulturës dhe arkitekturës së banimit të shekullit XVIII dhe XIX. Institucionet e vendit për mirëmbajtjen dhe kujdesin ngaj trashëgimise, e sidomos asaj arkitekturore janë përgjegjëse por asgjë nuk arrihet pa përfshirjen dhe kontributin e komunitetit. |
