[edit]DescriptionHuman placenta 002.jpeg | This is a placenta with velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord. The point of rupture of the membranes was through the velamentous insertion. You can see a "bridge" made of fairly large caliber vessels. I would call it: velamentous, the hard way. |
