Summary[edit]

Description
English: Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire in Delhi, India. It is one of the earliest examples of Mughal architecture and served as a prototype for the construction of the Taj Mahal. The tomb features a grandiose central dome, intricate lattice work, and lush gardens, reflecting the fusion of Persian and Indian architectural styles. Commissioned by Humayun's widow, Empress Bega Begum, the tomb stands as a magnificent tribute to the Mughal Emperor Humayun.
